As one SEAL operator was pinned down, Chapman inserted himself into the inferno, pushing past enemy lines alone.

Wounded and outnumbered, he held his ground, inflicting lethal blows on insurgents, buying critical time for extraction. When the final enemy closed in, Chapman shielded his fallen comrades at the cost of his own life.
