Mr. Vasquez had done an excellent synopsis of both the FRT design and the competitive designs. The key element here is that the Engineering staff at ATF is attempting to “lump” this design into existing designs already understood to be full automation systems (Electric and Hydraulic). The problem is that these elements of design are absent from the FRT Design, as are numerous other examples of full automatic operation. The issue here is that the ATF is attempting to apply poorly explained engineering to a novel design. It would be better for the ATF to attempt to provide education to it’s engineers and reviewers, then to attempt to mask over a clear attempt to provide “Feel Good” examples of poorly constructed regulation.

I know this may seem off topic, but in which Giessele trigger is Rick Vasquez referring to, when he says the Giessele trigger that is exactly like the FRT trigger that has been previously approved. I would like to know what that Giessele trigger is. I didn’t know that Giessele made that type of trigger

It is regrettable but predictable that the ATF, under current administrative guidance, obviously embarked on this line of offense with knowledge of Agent Vasques’ assertion and knowledge such things, I recall “Fast & Furious” and the also predictable silence created in it’s wake. Simply put ….. THIS will happen again
